A long time ago Allah (god) said to his angels ”Behold I will create a creature on earth”The angels replied to Allah ”will this creature make mischief and shed blood while we praise your holy name?” Allah said ‘I knows what ye know not’ Allah then made Adam (a.s) from a handfull of clay taken from different lands then he breathed his spirit into adam (a.s).
And Allah taught Adam (a.s) the names of all things ,then Allah placed Adam (a.s) before the angels and said to the angels”tell me the names of these thing if ye are right the angles said glory to thee of knowledge, we have none apart from what you have taught us it is you who is perfect in knowledge and wisdom”
Allah then said to the angels ” Bow down to Adam (a.s)” all of the angels did apart from iblis he refused to do so he is now one of those who reject faith.
